Tonight, just a straight up little image of this Variegated Weigela plant that is blooming away beside our back deck. It looked so happy in the sunlight, I decided to put it on here to wish everyone a very safe and happy 24th of May weekend. This image was shot with my 75 ~ 300 zoom lens, wide open, with a +1 close up filter attached to give it a little bit of a macro look, with a very shallow depth of focus. When I finished playing with it in Corel, I realized that it could have been a bit sharper had I used a tripod....but then there was a gentle breeze while I was shooting it, so I will leave it at that.....getting lazy in my old age.
